Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August- RNLI Weekend and Maritine Festival. Clovelly yacht race sponsored swim and lifeboat display. Stalls and entertainments.
Sunday 4th August- Porlock Country Fair, Shows, crafts, hog roast bar and Pimm’s tent. Attendence £3
Saturday 10th August- Combe Martain Carnival Week. BBQ, Duck race, Carnival parade, raft race, fireworks.
Sunday 11th August- Brendon Show- One of the oldest horse shows on Exmoor.
Friday 16th August- Dunster Show- On the lawns below Dunster Castle, Bands, Demonstrations, craft and trade tents, Comprtitive showing of horses, cattle and sheep.
Friday 23rd August – Queens Theatre Barstaple, That That’ll Be The Day Back by ever-growing popular demand, get ready to party as the UK’s favourite Rock & Roll variety production returns with another chance to see its latest most popular show!

Friday 13th Sept- Queens Theatre Barnstaple, UK Pink Floyd Experience. Celebrating 50 Years of Pink Floyd, UK Pink Floyd Experience recreate the sights and sounds of the legendary Pink Floyd band in concert.
Saturday 14th Sept- Forties Weekend, visitors will travel behind historic steam locomotives on the west somerset steam railway with events and attractions at Watchet and Minehead.
Saturday 21st Sept- Somerset Arts Weeks Festival.
Friday 27th and 28th Sept- Rosemoor Real Ale and Gin Music Fest. Live music and locally produced ales and food at Rosemoor Gardens, £7.50
Saturday 28th Sept- The Lorna Doone Trail- a talk by John Burgess, at the Dulverton Heritage centre.
Friday 11th- Sunday 20th October- Two Moors Festival. Nationally renowned festival, live music, arts and performances across Exmoor an Dartmoor.
Saturday 12th October- Deer walk with an Exmoor Ranger.
Sunday 13th October- Early morning Deer walk in Rut, led by an Exmoor National Park Ranger to see Exmoor Red Deer during the rut, Approx 3miles , binoculars recommended. Booking via Dulverton National Park Centre. 01398 323841
Saturday 19th October – 3rd November- Halloween Trail, follow a spooky garden trail at Dunster Castle.
Saturday 26th October- Shammick Concert Bob and Gill Berry 8pm at the Pack of Cards Combe Martin.
14 November to 4 January. Glow and winter sculpture exhibition at RHS Rosemoor Gardens. Garden trail with stunning winter illuminations providing a festive walk around the winter sculptures in the gardens.
Early February to early March Wheddon Cross – Snowdrop Valley a privately owned remote valley is open to visitors to see the wonderful display of snowdrops. There will be buses running. Ticket price to be confirmed.
Walking access into the valley along the local bridleways and footpaths is available throughout the month.
